I have Gill to thank for encouraging me through the doors to my first ever yoga class. I was so blown away by what I had experienced that I became hooked. Having immersed myself in my own practice for many months I then enrolled to do my CYS Teacher Training, primarily to deepen my own understanding of yoga. The course  simply changed my life. I was blessed to study with such knowledgeable and experienced tutors from a variety of fields and our very own Gill. It was an amazing journey of learning, personal growth and development.

I’ve continued to study having  attended workshops with some of Ashtanga yoga’s most wonderfully gifted teachers. I believe yoga is for everybody, I really enjoy teaching and starting people off on their own yoga journey.  Everyday I grow and learn, and now can’t imagine my life without yoga.

“During a personal low point I decided to re-evaluate my life.  A new fitness centre opened in my hometown so I enrolled in a yoga class. This was the first day of the rest of my life. For the last 3 years I have immersed myself in the study and practice of yoga. I have personally experienced the great benefits that can be gained from Hatha Raja Yoga- Sivananda, Iyengar and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.

My studies have included extensive practice, many workshops and class assisting. I have enjoyed a Yoga retreat in Tuscany and learnt much from Indian teachers in Dubai. I feel blessed having been guided by expert tutors worldwide in the art of Flow Yoga and Tai Chi and I am honoured to have studied with David Keil during my CYS London Teacher Training. Yoga is my life, I continue to learn and develop everyday. I love teaching and watching people grow within their own mind and body finding peace and the connection between the two”.
